Another great book by TB! I’m always nervous when finding an author I’ve never read before because I’m afraid I’ll get sucked in with their “best” book and the rest are stinkers. Not the case with T Bailey! This is my 3rd or 4th book and I’m hooked.

My Killer Vacation was so good. I am loving the cute love story with the thriller or exciting plot thrown in. The fact that we get to go along and solve the case with Myles and Taylor vs it being one sided or updates from Miles when they are together. It was an exciting “who done it” with some spice mixed in and it was.. chefs kiss! I did not anticipate who ended up being the killer so it was fun to get all the clues along the way and realize who it was along with them.

I am not one for sequels or multiple part/series BUT I wouldn’t mind a second book set out a few years where they work another case together. Maybe something happened at the school she works and and she has to call on him for his expertise? Tessa Bailey.. call me and we can chat! Haha

I liked how Tessa Bailey combined the detective story with the development of the romantic relationships of the main characters, between whom a spark instantly broke out. But it also confused me, I could not feel this quickly conceived love, I could not see how the attraction turned into love. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

“I don't know if it's possible to fall in love with a man in four days. But if it is, I think I've just soundly accomplished that feat with Myles Sumner.”

This book has a summer atmosphere. I wanted to move to the beach with the main characters, visit their house on the seashore, eat ice cream with them and spend time with them.
I want to mention the cover, I'm in love with it, with its color scheme. The cover perfectly conveys the mood of the book.

This was my first Tessa Bailey book and I was excited to read because I love a good murder mystery and some smut. This definitely felt short for me. The smut was cringe at times and felt forced. Wasn’t crazy about characters either. Wish it focused more on the murder plot it felt rushed at the end.

Few authors right sexy fun romances as well as Tessa Bailey and in this book she adds to the fun by throwing a murder into the mix.

It’s a good read but compared to other Tessa books I read it was only okay. The two main characters seemed almost cartoonish at times.

The  cover is also a disconnect- she’s not a blonde in the book.

Tessa Bailey's books either work for me or not. This one was really great. Lighthearted, entertaining, sweet and steamy. Just what I needed. Great summer read.
