Took forever to finish this book. Definitely not a good book to read in pieces. Interesting to follow families over huge span of time, but wish come characters could have longer stories instead of just a chapter or two.

What a book... love love love it.
This book delves into the seedy, grimy, claustrophobic, hectic and crazy movement that is London... the highs and lows the many fantastic and highly colourful periods of history all connected to the city by the river Thames.

No son cinco estrellas porque me hubiera gustado que hubiera tocado la segunda mitad del siglo XX, después de 1000 páginas...da igual unas poquitas más 😊

It is often difficult to weave history and fiction together, but Rutherfurd does this effortlessly. I look forward to reading his other works.
