I'm going to post this for both the 2001 and the 2002 books, because they're pretty similar. I thought the 2001 was slightly more interesting than the 2002 volume for some reason. Also, the formatting of the ebook I read was somewhat better for the 2001 volume than the 2002.

I find aircraft crash investigations fascinating. I've watched dozens of episodes of "Mayday"/"Air Crash Investigation" and other similar shows. It's the working out of what happened and how it could have been prevented (or not) that fascinates me.

I found the author's website via a post on Twitter, and looked up her books on Scribd. I read the 2001 and 2002 volumes there.

The accounts in both books are not elaborate, but they cover the incidents sufficiently for the reader to get an idea of what's going on. Because of the shows I've watched, I was familiar with most of the commercial aviation crashes she covers in both books. I really liked the way the author's research supplemented the video programs I've seen. I wasn't familiar with the general aviation crashes, so those were pretty interesting too.

Good, basic information on crashes. Very interesting stuff.
