I picked a bunch of comics up on a Nook sale a while ago and finally got around to reading this. It confirmed my disinterest in Superman in general, but it was a fun read for the feel of the early comic.

This is the beginning of superman. Superman is just a small part of the comic book and only has part of a story. Many of the other stories are also continued in the next issue.

Gotham City accidentally gets turned into a giant, growing crystal. Batman's not around for some reason, so it's up to Superman and Etrigan to go back in time to the medieval world for some reason to stop all this.
