The year has come to an end.. We discover answers from the past and we see what the future holds. This series needs to be read from start to finish to fully enjoy Mia's story. I could see where some might stop after a few months but you really need to continue until you get through December.

This was the perfect ending to the series! And once I finished it left me feeling happy with how everything for wrapped up. In this last episode Mia goes to a cabin in a mountain town to interview some local artists and spend Christmas there. Mia gets a surprise when she arrives there and there is one more issue to deal with. I could understand why she handled things the way she did and it must be difficult for her to deal with that. I did think it explained a lot and gave us one more piece to understand. A few things made a bit more sense now and I couldn't help but feel sorry for this person.

So there was one more issue for Mia to deal with and then there were the interviews with the local artist, but that was only a small part. For the most part this book is about the issue and besides that it's nicely wrapping up the series with a fun Christmas spent with her new family. It was heartwarming and made me happy to see her have her first Christmas tree and a fun holiday. I could really feel her happiness and I am so happy for Mia that after this whole journey she found her place. You could really feel her love and care for the people around there.

It was an uplifting and perfect ending to the series and the line Trust the Journey really fits. After everything she has been through it's great to see how she has changed and the new person she has become and how she's found her place. There is a sweet epilogue from Wes his point of view and then we get to see how all the other side characters are doing, which I thought was a great addition. As Mia meets so many people along the way and it was neat to see how everyone their life will continue afterwards.

To summarize: this was the perfect ending to the series. It made me feel happy and satisfied with how things ended. There's one more issue for Mia to deal with and I am glad we got that last piece as it did explain a few things and I thought it was handled realistically. It is a heartwarming and fulfilling ending to the series. I especially liked how we got to see how all the side characters Mia met throughout the books were doing at the end. And it's just so amazing to see how Mia has changed throughout this series and how she finally found love, family and a place to belong. All in all a great ending to this series!

And done.
The whole series.

Wow.
I loved it, I did. But parts of it, I didn't like. I felt that the issue of Mia and Maddy's dad was closed poorly. Made sense why, but still somewhat disappointing.

Wes and Mia. Ahhhh.

Over all I enjoyed the series. I really did. I have further recommended it to others. Thanks to the one who recommended it to me.

The perfect assignment to end the year - interviewing local artists in a small winter town. Why not bring the whole family here to celebrate their first Break Christmas - tree and all.
But first Mia needs to figure out why someone would pay big money to get her specifically to do theses interviews. And who is that mystery woman who seems oh so familiar? Coming face to face with the past will not be easy. However, with a loving family by your side anything is possible!

So glad to be done with this series. It started off so well then just tanked at book 7 & 8. It got a little better but the damage was done.

Mia is a bitch and at least she comes by it honestly as her father is an ass. Families suck. This last book was completely predictable and the only thing I liked about it was the bonus "where are they now" to find out what happened with everyone later. Because of that, I gave it a bonus star and would say it's 2.5 stars, but not good enough for 3.

At least it was a quick quick series to read.

Amazing....amazing...amazing. As a whole this a probably one of the best series I've read. I truly loved Mia and Wes and the fact that Mia was just bad ass was just amazing. Trust the Journey...while at times I was nervous about where the journey was going to take me, I was happy that the author stayed true to Mia's character. I have to have this collection. I deliberately paced myself to read this series the whole year and I think I may want to revisit in a few years. I loved it, the ending...the message...wonderful. 4.5 stars!!!
