This book was a whole lot of nothing. I understand the social commentary points it was trying to make, but it didn't really say anything about attention that [b:A Head Full of Ghosts|23019294|A Head Full of Ghosts|Paul Tremblay|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1415678368s/23019294.jpg|42563937] didn't say better.

Also,
SpoilerI really hate it when the hauntings in horror novels are just an allegory for grief

I really enjoyed this book. Great POV character in Jack Sparks. I loved his snarky wit.
If you enjoy a good supernatural horror story that has both humor and grim darkness, this is the book for you.

I really enjoyed this one! 4.5
I love a self absorbed MC, and Jack Sparks delivers. I felt altogether confused, angry, amused and sad for him in this story…

Although I think Alistair is the truer jackass.

ARE YEW SHITTING ME?? That’s how it ends???

3.75 stars. This was a wild fkn ride. I haven’t read horror that got under my skin the way this did in a while so cheers to that. I loved how this was written and watching the descent into madness of our shitty, maybe redeemable main character. The first half was great but then it got a little Ebenezer Scrooge-y when the book kept making a point of how his selfishness was the cause of everything. I like my horror to have a bit of mystique so that lessened my enjoyment. The reveal was pretty cool but I wanted more closure than that non-ending
