Entertaining paranormal mystery with a difference

Tipsy is in the middle of a nasty divorce and trying to support her 3 children on minimum wage. She moves in to a abandoned house owned by her brother in law and finds it infested with a pair of ghosts, Henry and Jane. Rumors say Henry killed Jane then in a murder-suicide. Tipsy trys to solve the long ago murder to bring peace to the ghosts. In the process, she's able to bring closure to her own marriage. This book straddles the genres of Paranormal Cozy Mystery and Paranormal Women's Fiction. The way Tipsy works through her issues and learns how to stand up to the bullies in her life was a pleasure to read. A bonus was the lush descriptions of Charleston. The author's love for the city clearly came through in the writing.

This was a fresh and fun ghost story! At the heart of it is Tipsy, a divorced artist whose new home is haunted by two ghosts, who had been married to each other but one is suspected of killing the other. Tipsy juggles divorce, three kids, her career, new love, new house, all while communicating with spirits and trying to unravel this murderous mystery. You'll fall in love with the Lowcountry setting, with the beach scenes, and with the wonderful descriptions of Tipsy's artwork. I can't wait for the sequel!
