What can I say?
I simply adore these Agatha Raisin mysteries. I never fail to giggle throughout the book, often I want to shake some sense into Agatha or I’m applauding her sassiness. I love her little circle of friends and seeing her start to really embrace her life in Carsley.
In this book, Agatha discovers that her new, handsome hairdresser isn’t the charming man she makes him out to be. Determined to discover his secrets, she employs the help of Sir Charles to winkle out the truth.
Full of the usual hijinks and misdirection, warnings from the police, and no shortage of suspects, M.C. Beaton gives us another fun Agatha adventure!

The Agatha Raisin series is a reliable and fun mystery series. Was kinda glad that James wasn't in this one, but poor ol' Agatha is still pining for him!
