Elena Weaver, at student at St. Stephen's College at Cambridge University, is found bludgeoned to death and because her father is a professor at the University, Scotland Yard Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley and his partner Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers are called in to investigate. And, as we all know, colleges can be intellectually changing institutions with extremely dark undertones. Welcome to Cambridge.

Elizabeth George is amazing. I really enjoyed this mystery. She is one of the few authors I have come across who can write a smart mystery.

I enjoyed this book. I saw it on the BookBub ebooks deals. Slow burn mystery. There are a lot of secrets in this book that pose questions than answers. It had me in suspense until the end.
