I enjoyed this boxset well enough. A couple stories seemed more contrived in their rush to get the HEA at the end (like the last story), but overall this was a fun set to read.
It was interesting to see each writer make Danby just a bit different each time (they all spoke of him being formidable, but some focused more on his mischievous need to meddle in his family's lives more so than anything else).
