Ah, Zeke, Zeke, Zeke. The guy truly was someone who had a big heart. I seriously liked him from the get-go, and he certainly had a heck of a lot of patience when it came to his less than pleasant neighbor. Of course, that didn't mean that he didn't spend more time than he should have pushing Cherry's buttons. Now, she had pretty much made her mind up about him in their limited interactions, but she pretty much realized that there was more to Zeke than she had earlier assumed. Admittedly, I may have liked Zeke more than I did Cherry, but she did redeem herself and I was quite satisfied with how everything played out. Cherry Lane was a four-starred addition to the Huckleberry Bay series, and I really hope this won't be the last time we'll be visiting this remarkably lovely little town.

Cherry Lane

I really enjoyed reading Cherry and Zeke’s story. I like how the backstory of each character is different but they’re all so relatable. This was a good novella. I hope we get more from Huckleberry Bay!

A quick fun read. Lots of great banter between Zeke and Cherry making for great laughs. Cherry is her own worst enemy, thankfully Zeke is there to give a helping hand when she needs one, giving them both a beautiful happily ever after.

Cherry Lane is Kristen Proby’s newest 1001 Dark Nights Novella. We’re back in Huckleberry Bay with Zeke and Cherry. These two have been at each other for over a year now ever since Zeke moved in next door to Cherry. Kristen Proby is one of my all time favorite authors. I totally love her series’ because they are big family sagas with unconditional love and super fun reads. Cherry Lane is totally HOT and super fun!!

I loved Cherry and Zeke's story! I loved the Huckleberry Bay series and was so happy to come back for these two. They had plenty of tension in book 3 of the series, so I was excited for their novella. It did not disappoint! Both Cherry and Zeke have strong personalities so it was no surprise they butted heads. The chemistry between them was evident and it was so fun once they gave in. Whether you're a Kristen Proby fan or new to her, you will enjoy this novella!

I feel in love with Huckleberry Bay with Luna and Wolfe, and revisiting this town- and getting Zeke and Cherry's story- is like coming home!

Zeke and Cherry met when he moved into the condo across the hall from her. Needless to say, it was not a great meet-cute, and these two had trouble being around each other without verballly sparring with each other. Until their attraction takes over. And when these two come together, it is magical!

I love that Kristen Proby always writes strong, mature women who, while not needing a man, learn that they are better with a strong support system. I look forward to more!!

As someone who has read the Huckleberry bay series since the beginning, I have watched the dance that Cherry and Zeke have been doing through the books, and couldn't wait to dive into this story. That said, this book is a stand alone and is full of delicious tension. When Cherry's water runs cold she knocks on her neighbor Zeke's door in her towel and he invites her in to use his shower. Zeke and Cherry don't know how not to fight, but it turns out that tension is not animosity but fueled by desire.

Novellas often feel like instalove, but with these two, it feels more like fate. The story felt rich and full of character development. I loved being back in Huckleberry Bay and finally being able to read Zeke's HEA.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my honest review.

Cherry Lane is a cute novella that is a quick romance between Zeke and Cherry. They’re neighbors who irritate each other until they don’t.
