I love how I hate every single character in this book and yet somehow I see a little bit of myself in all of them too.

Um honestly? Don’t really know what I just read. I’m not really sure there was truly a plot to this… the characters were so annoying and just miserable. I also absolutely hated the last 70 or so pages I just felt like I was stuck going around a round a bout that I could never get off of. I’m genuinely so annoyed I finished this entire book. Why on earth would Taylor Swift recommend this

This would have been better if I were a miserable heterosexual person who takes pleasure in contemplating how much I hate myself. Unfortunately, I am nothing like that. However, I can see how it could have been enjoyable, which is why it has 3 stars instead of 2.

Frances is an insufferable character.

“I loved when he was available to me like this, when our relationship was like a Word document which we were writing and editing together, or a long private joke which nobody else could understand. I liked to feel that he was my colaborator.”

My heart’s a bit broken but also really light after finishing it. It moved so much in me.

Love is great conversation, the kind you don’t ever want to stop. Ever.

I loved the message and quotes, but after reading it, it just put me in a bit of a slump
