really enjoyed the author’s previous work, so i decided to give this series a try. i really enjoyed the ode to asian communities and families, however, it did get really hectic at times. i was disappointed as there’s honestly not many clues in the book that allows the readers to predict what happens, which i would have appreciated. overall, good cozy read.

I love the family dinamic we see in each page.

I have to say I was worried about the plot. I thought maybe it would be very repetitive.
However, this story amazes and surprises me every now and then.
It was so funny and easy to read I would definitely wait for the author to bring back this characters.

Jesse Q. Sutanto is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors for a lighthearted and fun read. This book was packed with action, mystery, and romance on every page. I do wish there was just a little more inclusion of Nathan, but still with the focus on Meddys growth.
