A story about love and grief, and the selfishness of loss, the mistakes and ways in which change happens involuntarily with it.
Two sisters with an unknown father and orphaned by an absent mother are raised by their garden fairy grandmother and strong charming uncle until one day the oldest dies unexpectedly living the quiet one, the one that always felt left behind and subdued when compared to her lively and boisterous sister, alone in a deep sea of grief and raw anger but through that immense pain she will discover a new untapped self.
One boy will accompany her in the painful journey, as her dead sister’s boyfriend they’ll find comfort in each other, as if their related grief unites them more than most. In the meantime a new boy enters her school and her music class, a boy that has never met her, the her that was a sister, and he will turn her feelings up 1000 notches for the first time and push her to open her eyes to her true dreams.
Mistakes will be made, people will grow, discover truths, forgive, and be themselves truly.
I couldn’t stop reading it, I couldn’t t put it down a second before I found out what would happen to these charming cast of characters.
The story is very compelling, candid about loss and errors made, honest about love and hormones, and also about epic love like those in classic novels.
One of my favourite YA romance books, no doubt.
