Aside for when Dez has to deal with her obnoxious family, reading this was pretty fun. Dez moves to her deceased grandmother's home, which is near a swamp. It's not long before she encounters the kikimora and they get close to each other. The interactions between both women was endearing. And like Dez, I also prefer when Mora is in her natural monstrous appearance, rather than when she makes herself look like a human woman. I'm definitely going to read the next book in this series.

This is the spicy sapphic monster romance I’ve desperately been searching for!!! Loved the emphasis on the MC being highly attracted to the LI on her monster form.
