The story progresses, and I like the character backstory we are starting to get. I hope it just slows down a bit, both with the plot and the number of side characters.

Winry plays a big role in this book and I love to see it! She does some very surprising things that will likely catch readers off-guard. Even better. Of course, the Elric brothers are bouncing off the walls when she pulls her stunts, but they are also on the mission to see their old teacher who hasn’t changed much from what they remember her to be. There are laughs, but also serious moments, which is what I love about this series.
