summary: this book takes us back through the plot of the first magnolia parks book just in the perspectives of daisy, christian and julian. not a lot repeats, but it’s interesting to get three new perspectives on magnolia and BJ aND understand christian’s pov on magnolia and how that changes throughout this book. it follows daisy and julian who are gang leaders (julian more than daisy, daisy being his little sister who him and all the gang bros protect) and the fwb/fb relationship that daisy and christian start the book with. christian is using daisy to get over / forget about magnolia. daisy knows she is in too deep with christian. julian deals with gang drama

I don't usually rate books, but this book was incredible, very easy five stars. Preferred Daisy as a character to Magnolia and Christian was the man BJ WISHES he could be.

This is the 2nd book in the Magnolia Parks series, but this time our MC is Daisy.  She's a badass and smart but such an idiot when it comes to love.  Her brother runs the biggest crime gang in London, but she is trying to be a normal college gal. And boy is she complicated as a character. I wanted to strangle her but at the same time adored her relationship with Christian.  And I really felt for all the tragedy she had gone through.  I really liked her thoughts as footnotes in the book, but it's hard to read on Kindle.  Can't wait to go back to Magnolia's POV in the next book!
