This is a really good book. There's great world building and character setup. But I will say the first half didn't grab me. It started off slow - granted it set the story up for the second, action packed half, but it was a struggle. I dropped the book for a while and ended up listening to a portion of it via audio. But it once the scene was set, it was a wrap. And I was literally shook towards the end. Now I want to finish the series. Well done Sanders...you've got a fan.

Amazing, breathtaking, soul crushing, crying, screaming into the void kind of book. It took me maybe 30 pages to get situated and then things just fell into place, the scene was set and we could get into the action! I love Kelsier and Vin, they are my favorite characters and I fucking enjoyed following them on this journey and seeing them grow <3 .
The ending felt a tiny bit rushed (
It's a bit sus how Vin put the puzzle pieces together so quickly about the Feruchemy and the Allomancy... Sure, she read the logbook, but really, she knew right away it was the guy only by the clothes she saw him wearing when she used the Eleventh metal? Ehhhhhhhh, ok.
) That part was a bit meh, but I still ADORED this book and would recommend it to anyone, especially those who like world building and great character development
