This was an enjoyable read. I thought that the story was great, and I love the whodunit concept. Cozy mysteries are my favourite type of mysteries. I really wanted to eat the food. The characters were great. Hannah is narrowing the suspects for who killed the coach, a judge for the Dessert Bake-Off. The story had many twists and turns in the story. I hope the series continues like this because I really enjoy seeing Hannah and her sister work together to solve the case. I want to see more this sisterly help in the other books. I can't wait for book 3. Overall, a great read.

When a character is killed that this reader was glad finally met their fate a new investigation begins in the sleepy town of Lake Eden. Hannah is on the hunt for a killer, this time in order to clear the most obvious suspect, her friend and the wife of the deceased. After this jaunt through Lake Eden with Hannah and friends I would gladly take another trip sometime soon!

The second book added to this universe and I look forward to the third one. Unfortunately it is still a little dated, but hopefully that will decrease the further into the series we go.

Either way it's a funny cozy murder book.

Outstanding

This one had a lot of twists and turns. I was able to figure out who the murderer was in this one. I am enjoying this series so much I purchased the remaining books in the series. My only problem now is I just can't read them fast enough. I want to take a whole week off so I can finish the entire series. I just don't want to put these down.

The cozy murder mystery was well written out.
Comments about how Hannah herself should lose weight are too much. Nothing to do with story or her character really. Almost like a social commentary. Oh and how they decide not to make it public that the dead guy beat up his wife because his students idolized him? Not okay.
