THIS BOOK. i absolutely loved reading about Cardan (I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS MAN ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY ANYMORE). learning more about his childhood, his relationship with nicassia (🤮), and him and jude in the mortal world ugh so good. him thinking about jude in this book made my heart so happy i can’t i love them together. also LOVE the illustrations but the kindle doesn’t do it justice i want a physical copy now

This is what was missing from the Folk of the Air series. I have more affection for the other books now, being able to really see Cardan’s feelings for and his awe of Jude with more fullness.
