Charlie
Poor Charlie is just an all around nice guy, he loves to spoil his friends and help them out if they ever need anything. Charlie was well aware of how lucky he was to have money, it’s not something that he flaunts but he feels very blessed so he will help anyone and everyone if needed, unfortunately this has led to some misconceptions…. Just because he’s nice and helps people out doesn’t mean he has romantic intentions! Somehow he is said to be dating 3 people at the same time, only thing is, he had no idea! He has to fix this, the last thing Charlie wants is to hurt anyone, he’s so unsure as to what to do, he doesn’t know what he’s done to get himself into these situations, he has no idea who his friends are or who thinks he’s dating them. This is so stressful for Charlie, thankfully his friend refers him to Mr Romance to help him understand what went wrong.

Liam
Liam is a hopeless romantic, he has made a business out of it, a very successful one, everything Liam ever dreamed of he watches his clients live out right in front of him, he is never chosen, he’s never the one that another wants to sing in the rain for, hold a boombox over their head, organise a flash mob and declare their love for him. Liam is referred a client for an unusual situation, Charlie is apparently being very romantic, unintentionally and unknowingly….
Charlie is an adorable mess of a man, beautiful, funny, kind, Charlie is neurotypical, but he’s just so socially clueless. Hence why Liam has been hired. Simple rules ..1. Keep Charlie from accidentally dating anyone. 2. Keep Charlie from becoming a sugar daddy….. again!

When a deal between Charlie and Liam see themselves being each other comforts and anchors on the unsure world of dating they both unexpectedly find themselves looking at each other with renewed hope that they have found their “one”.

the plot of this one is so ridiculous but also so fun

if someone EVER paid another person to plan a date or grand gesture for me, especially a MAN… that would not at all be hot to me. but the concept in this book is so funny. especially to have a gay guy planning all these dates for straight men. i mean, get your bag, but in what world ?? 😂

anyway, the romance was so sweet. i loved how oblivious and naive Charlie was about his flirting and “accidentally” dating like 10 ppl without knowing. it was so unique and fun to read about. and the progression of their relationship from friends to more was cute as hell. i loved the jealousy and pining on both sides and when they finally got together 🥵

Love it! Adorable, funny and romantic!!!

Contains: clueless caracters who miss some important social cue, a consultant romance, friends with benefit.

I love it!!
Sweet Sweet Clueless Charlie. And biggest romantic Liam. This book is well writing. Hilarous, I laugh often. I love the Connection with other caracter like Ian & Matt. The "cult" and the " train gymnast into soldier" sentence through me into some funny time. It was perfect. The author even take the leap into self recommend her own book. I LOVE IT!!!

We feel the distress of Charlie to lose his friends and even to make them sad without realizing it. Liam is a hopeless romantic. He love everything about it. He accept to help Charlie to recognize the social cue from the friendship base in order to avoid these events from happening again.

This was fun! I liked the concept of Mr. Romance, and was intrigued by his character in Dating Disaster. I do kind of wish his date planning was a sliiightly bigger part of the book.

Charlie is a great big charming dumbass and I loved him.

The big romantic moment at the end of the book was great, though I do kind of hate when a book ends almost immediately after the characters have finally gotten together, so I wish there'd been a LITTLE more after that.

Something I didn't like was there are two of the side characters were hinted to have been in a cult or a gang or something and not knowing what's going on with them kind of took away from this book for me. Charlie and Liam both make appearances in The Dating Disaster, and enough so that I'm curious about the characters, but not knowing more about them is not a detriment to the rest of the story, whereas this felt like I HAVE to go read that book to solve the mystery of this book, so it felt like a big advertisement -- one that never actually mentions who those characters are or what book they belong to - are they other characters from Franklin U? Or from one of Louisa Masters's books?
