2.5 ⭐️ good plot, good characters, fine conclusion to the series although I’d consider it a cop-out.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when an author writes an entire series that would’ve been better off as one novel. That’s the Paradise series in a nutshell. I’ve read other Hilderbrand novels that have truly entranced me, but this series unfortunately missed the mark. Just too long! Too many times I was just ready for it to be over, and I hate having that feeling while reading.

This entire trilogy is so delightful. The perfect mix of beach read and salacious. Loved it.

I listened to this on audio.
This was the third and final book to the "Paradise" series.
I wish it was better. I wish we got more mystery storyline, most of the story was about all the characters love lives and just a snippet of how the helicopter went down. It felt rushed and then forgotten about. I didn't particularly like the ending storyline either- I know it was based off of events that happened in real life to the USVI but I wish we got a different ending.
The first book really sucked me in and I have been disappointed since.

This was a trilogy that would have been better as one book. It was one story. Did I read all 3 because I wanted resolution? Yes. Did I enjoy it? In the beginning, yes. In the end, no. I was so bored and frustrated I felt like something else had to happen, but so many unnecessary characters and side stories just ruined it.

Read without knowing it was the 3rd in a series of 3…but seemed to do fine as a stand alone, there was some confusion with all the characters at the beginning but ended up being a very enjoyable read.

I wish there was one more book in this series. Absolutely gripping!

I enjoyed the conclusion of this trilogy. I can say I will definitely miss this cast of characters. I was hoping to have a resolve to the original mystery but the author chose to not dive back into that part of the plot. This trilogy was a nice, breezy, summer read.
