Fantastic book! I really loved listening to this book, there were some parts i liked better than others, but overall an amazing book and story. I really liked that both Jane and Mr. Rochester were not beautiful/handsome people, it is a nice change from the modern ideal.
SpoilerSpoilerwise i really hated St John, i found him really cold, how can you ask someone to marry, when you know you could not possibly make them happy? I just do not like the man! But Rocherster on the other hand i really do like, i do have some problems with him being that old, (and talking about himself as a father to Jane) but that does not really matter, it is nice to see a character like his who is really complex and vulnerable. Jane of course is a really inspiring woman. I do not think that the 'mad wife in the attic' part of the story was the best, even though it is one of the things from this book that you hear the most about, I really liked the domestic aspect of the story.
