I love how he's the one who's emotional about her. Always wanting more.

Enjoyed reading this book. It was a quick read. I fell for Mr Cavendish quite quickly. Bianca had me wanting to yell at her a few times. Leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger, which reminded me a bit of 50. But thankfully book 2 is already out.

Bianca doesn't date. Past experiences and some feelings she things are wrong to have contribute to that, and the fact that she hasn't ever been interested in anyone also helps. She has a good job as a flight attendant, her own home, something that means alot to her, and best friend Stephan.

It takes her by surprise when sexy billionaire James Cavendish starts to show interest and presents her with a proposition she just can't bring it in her to refuse. But can she do what she knows will be good for her without letting her heart caught up in it?

I really loved the start, just jumping straight into the scene with very little prior introduction to the characters and just finding out bits along the way.

I was getting a bit bored along the way, the falling into an easy routine just didnt sit right with me, but then towards the end i was completely hooked. Soo much was hinted at in this book that was barely touched upon and has me itching to read the sequel!

"In Flight" by R.K. Lilley is the first in the "Up in the Air" series and is also the very first book I've read by the author. I'm giving "In Flight" four out of five stars, the rating being based mostly on the interesting back stories of both lead characters, Bianca Karlsson and James Cavendish, as well as the relationship between Bianca and her best friend, Stephan. I decided to hold off on giving the book five stars because I felt James was a tad too mercurial that it started to get irritating rather than endearing (though I doubt that a lot of mercurial men have found their behavior labeled as "endearing"...hehehe) and Bianca seemed to also have quite a lot of shifts in her behavior as well.

Overall, the story was well-paced and left me curious enough to want to know what will happen in the sequel.

WHY ? Just help me understand (actually don't, I don't need to).

On a very PERSONAL opinion, this was quite rubbish. I think I hated it even more than Sylvia Day's Crossfire which is saying a lot. The dramatic contrast of the virgin almost saintlike heroine and the badboy billionaire that doesn't take no for an answer was just.... too much, especially with a naive writing that added no depth to these characters.

Hard pass.

I was reading this while traveling half across Europe by car. Try and keep a straight face while travelling with a platonic male collegue and reading erotica. Fun right? Wasnt that bad. It has been a while since I read the stories that came before this and barely remeber any of that, but the plot and the characters were deep enough with enough emotional baggage and all. All the secrets are not yet revieled and it seems that is not only pure banging through out the book but also some plot. Will keep on reading the series. The mistakes did bother me more than in previous reads, bucause there were quite a few, but otherwise quite enjoyable read with spice.
