"My love for you will never fade. Not even when this wretched world ceases to exist and the sun dies out to an everlasting darkness. My life, my soul. It is yours eternally.”

I wasn't sure what to expect from this one and I honestly didnt think I'd like the angel/demon/religious cult past,
but it sounded intriguing. It didn't disappoint! It's heavy on religious persecution, good/evil, oppression of women, Priests are always "right because they can never do wrong" even though they are evil, and reincarnation. Dual timeline  following 4 POV's Lustina/the Baron and Farryn/Jericho. There was so much suspense and mystery. Sometimes you didn't know what was true or if she was hallucinating. His sacrifice was everything and her love for him to do whatever it took was top tier. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Not sure what to say about this one yet. I will have to come back and write a full review later.

I've come to love Keri Lake's writing. In saying that, this one wasn't my favorite. It was still good, just more predictable than the others I've read so far.
