I love Hunter and I like Demi. But I do not feel particular satisfied with the plotline of this book, especially with that ending, as many issues remained unanswered. (I can see that they are going to have a lot of struggles with TJ off the pages. Mike and Rupi just decided to LEAVE super abruptly. We do not know what kind of drama is going to get all stirred up when Demi meet with Hunter's parents. And specifically is Hunter really going to NHL after graduation? Hopefully we get some answers in the next aka. the last book of this series.) But there are something I like about this book. The original group cameo and the big foung family vibe in Hunter's house.

Heat: 🔥🔥-🔥🔥🔥 (It is so odd that Ms Elle's writing is not explicit but super hot to read 0.0)

Overall it was a great read!! Super fun book and I love everything Elle Kennedy I’ve read so far. My deductions are for the fact that the timeline is somewhat confusing, the ending felt rushed/too much going on and spoiler…
the breakup was obviously going to happen and we knew he was cheating so I think it took a little too long to get to it

i did enjoy the book a lot and i'm totally into the whole friends-to-lovers storyline..but sometimes demi's "ugh i need to look cute for my bf" thing and hunter's "ugh i really can't break my celibacy vow" were just super annoying to me. but i'm so happy about them being together - hunter absolutely deserved that after the whole summer/fitzy-thing!! loved hunter when he first appeared in the books and i love that he got his own book, however, it didn't live up to my expectations. plus, i wasn't happy with
the whole thing of tj being suicidal and really trying to kill himself. i think elle kennedy just wanted to add some extra..something? but didn't think of it too much. imo we should've been given more context and also information on what happened to him etc. that totally lacks here.
and not to talk about the epiloge...it was THE WORST like wth??!
i hated hollis and rupi's relationship from the start and now they got fucking married?! hell no, i'm out!! mike hollis deserves his own book with an exceptionally wonderful woman! dear elle kennedy, i will never ever recocer from that!
with that being said: i enjoyed the book, it was a nice & quick read but not as good as good as expexted.
