This was the least compelling story so far in the series. The ending in particular felt rushed. I still love Granny Weatherwax, but I couldn't get into the drama with the King.

I read this book when I feel slightly overwhelmed by the Universe. Every woman needs both a Granny Weatherwax and a Nanny Ogg in her life. The weird perspectives they each present make me feel a little better, but I'm never really sure why.

3.5 - good story, although I got a bit lost in the ending. I think my audiobook player may have jumped a bit on a pivotal scene, or I got caught up in what I was doing and didn't listen hard enough.

I loved the literary references and, of course, Granny Weatherwax! I wonder if McGrath will return because I'm very keen on her journey into discovering what all this witchy business is about.

Timeline-wise I have no idea where this falls with Equal Rites...

This one was probably my favorite of the Discworld novels so far. All the characters were pretty solid. I appreciated the addition of Magrat, but I think Hwel was my favorite in the book. Looking ahead, it looks like all three will be in Witches Abroad. Trying to decide if I still want to read the books in published order or jump around.

A true Pratchett classic. I think everyone should read this one. Whether you are trying to get through Discworld or have read the Tiffany Aching series, this is a valuable addition to the stories.

I love this book, I love the banter, I love the Shakespeare references, I love the Fool so much. Death's part had me creased, and I'm so glad I finally got around to reading this one.

Not the best Discworld novell, but still funny.
