Still one of my favorite books. Still one of my favorite love stories ever.

“Because the only time that I allow myself to feel anything is when I’m with you.”

God this might be my favorite Walsh book to date. I’m still unsure of how this woman is able to make these characters so lifelike and captivating. Joey and Aoife’s story is my favorite and, even though it’s beyond heartbreaking, I could feel the love these two have for each other through the pages.

So damn good.

UGHHHH WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKK. I thought I went through the 7 stages of grief in the last book but it was nothing compared to this one. Joey and Aoife mean everything to me. Giving this book 5 stars is saying a lot because it did so many things I didn’t like. Because we have the family backstory from the other two books, this one time jumped a lot just to inform us of what was happening with the main characters during the events of the last book. I usually hate that, but the way this relationship was built was perfect. It was dark, but realistic. I felt for Joey and related to him in certain ways too, I fear he is the new LOML. This book also ended on a cliffhanger, but I’m still giving it 5 stars. I have the next one all ready to go! I will never get over this.
