The latest film version renewed my interest in the Time Quintet. The adventures of the Murry family along with Calvin. The tesseract. This book was even better since having seen the film version.

Had I read this as a child it would probably be a 5 star, it’s a lovely way to introduce deeper themes mixed in with overtly simplified science. I can see how it would definitely spark inspiration at a young age!

Good book

It was interesting. A bit slow but interesting concept. It wasn't as wonderful as I had hoped it would be.

Decided to reread this before I read it to my kids. Not quite as magical as I remembered. A quick read and I am curious to read the rest of the series, because some of the things I thought happened in this book just weren't there, so maybe they appear in later books and my mind lumped them all together. Also quirkier than I remember, will be curious to see how my kids react.

Just as good now as it was when I was a kid. I can't wait for the movie.
