Not for the faint of heart. Tells the story of the heartbreaking reality for too many people. Writing was a little hard to follow sometimes, but the story still took you for a ride with the character and gives the reader room to consider difficult, heavy subjects. this almost made me break my “no dnf’ing” rule. i spent most of the time listening to this book just so frustrated!! i only read this because weeks ago i was #emo but the hold on libby was long so i could only start it now and maybe i wasn’t in the right state of mind to read this (meaning i was too normal and happy) but i feel like this should be a good read ESPECIALLY to those in better mindsets to show what it’s like!!

i feel bad for disliking this book so much and it was almost a 1 star review (ESPECIALLY DURING THST FUCKING CONCERT SCENE AT THE VERY END I HATE PUTTING THE SPOILER WARNING ON MY REVIEWS SO I WON’T SAY MORE BUT!! GOD!!!!!) but then the author had her sweet little note at the end and mentioned how she’s struggled with sh and then i felt bad 😭 just goes to show everyone’s relationship with it is different! hope she found her peace writing this 🫡
