My kids really enjoyed this one. Compared it to Betsy Who Cried Wolf for a very enjoyable storytime!

This book, with such an interesting cover and premise, really falls flat. I did it as a read-a-loud with PreK and while they had fun trying to look for Bigfoot on each page, the story wasn't that meaty and thus they were not really invested in Ben and his quest. They also did not understand that the story is told from Bigfoot's point of view. I do like the message of telling the truth for this age though.

This is a rendition of the boy who cried wolf. The little boy in this story makes up the story of seeing BigFoot. Finally, no one believes him. BigFoot appears and takes the little boy's bike. The neat twist on this story is that it is told from BigFoot's point of view.
This is a great pk-2 story to talk about telling the truth. It would even be great in 3-5th grades for point of view.
It did not win any awards.

Ben, the Littlefoot, and our adorable Bigfoot make a great team in this comical take on "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." Perhaps not the best bedtime story, this tale would make a fantastic read-aloud.
