Tearing up at the end of a very short graphic novel, I find myself thinking about swimming in the Seine with current 2024 news about its pollution levels and e.coli outbreak among Olympic swimmers. It's tempting to say something wry about it, but I feel that it continues this wrestle of the human world as a polluted one very spiritually, very powerfully. Oh, and the artwork is gorgeous.

The illustrations are beautiful for this book. The depth of the sentiments expressed is there but the story came up a little short, like I was missing half.

Un très belle BD qui fait réfléchir. J'aime beaucoup la façon dont ZEP utilise les couleurs. Cela donne une ambiance particulière à la BD.
