I read the description on the back cover after I read the book, and there was a lot of the plot that I didn’t get while reading. The fight scenes were also hard to follow, and I’m left with a lot of questions (like what does the title even stand for?). I’m not sure if there is supposed to be a sequel, but it would help clarify a lot of things, like world-building and character development.

Mysterious and a bit difficult. The artwork is beautiful. There are some cartoon – style elements: humorously distorted mouths, exaggerated facial expressions, and a habit on the part of a couple of the characters to indulge in slapstick violence (like throwing a pan at your patient’s face, or clonking your inattentive grandson on the noggin.)

I’d like to see where the story goes next.

This was okay. Nothing ground breaking, but kept my interest through out.

The author got across a lot of worldbuilding very quickly in this volume. I really enjoyed the art design and the pacing was excellent. Eager to read Volume 2 when it’s available!

I am thoroughly upset that this is the only volume out, and that it came out so long ago. I truly hope we get more in the future.

I gave it three stars because the beginning was a little confusing; I didn't feel like the art really clearly portrayed what was happening. However, I loved the characters, I loved the setting, I am super intrigued by what might happen in future installments. The first volume is basically a prologue, though, so it's also suffering a bit standing on it's own. If more came out and the story progressed well that could easily change the star rating of the first installment. There just isn't enough here to say it wowed me, unfortunately.

This was really good and I'm sad that it was never finished.
