This is a great omegaverse & hockey combination. Just know that (content warning)
grief
plays a large role in the later story. I thought it was handled well, but I still wanted to mention it.

One Pucked Up Pack was honestly better than I thought it would be!

I knew that this was omegaverse going into it, but I think I was expecting more hockey and less omv. It was definitely beginner friendly, and did a decent job of explaining all of the trope hallmarks.

Read this book if you love
- Why choose/reverse harem
- Omegaverse
- Hockey romance
- Second chance romance

This book has a lot of time skips, especially around the 50% mark and in the epilogues. I found that I wanted more character time that was skipped over, but I also don’t think the book needed to be longer.

The one thing that I really didn’t enjoy was the lack of healthy communication around the conflict. I definitely found some of the resolution to be annoying because the blame and guilt gets shifted to people in the relationship who I don’t think deserve it, and other people get forgiven a bit too quickly or have their actions brushed off.

I’ll probably read the second book. 3 stars.

Absolutely loved this book! All the characters had wonderful development, learning from their mistakes and the coming together in the end was just chef’s kiss. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this book besides wanting more before the epilogue!

Okay, so I started this because I thought this would make me really unhappy. It didn't. It was fucking cute and sweet and adorable.
The blurb makes it seem like the breakup is a huge part of the book which it really isn't - so don't start the book if that's what you want. There also wasn't that much groveling because the guys didn't really do much wrong.

A hockey themed Omegaverse. Sign me up.

Omegaverse in general is such a comfort read for me and One Pucked Up Pack has easily joined some of my favourites from the genre.

I loved all the MMC’s. I think my favourite has to be Anders although Mikael comes a very close second. I will be thinking about the hot tub scene for a long time to come.

I would ask you to check TW/CW though as this book does deal with parental loss (on page) / child abuse (off page) as well as grief & depression.

Overall I had a great time with it and can’t wait to read about Piper!
