At this rate I’ll read any book written by Sarah Blue tbh. I enjoyed this one. Sometimes it does feels long but it’s cute & sexy and the fact that there’s angst too just makes it better. Bonus epilogue takes the cake

One Pucked Up Pack, book 1 in The Pucked Omegaverse series, by Sarah Blue @sarahblueauthor. Sarah is a new author for me!
Just wow! Amazing book! I absolutely loved this book about Charlotte, Mikael, Eli & Anders. Tropes: RH, no MM, Omegaverse, Hockey, has a 3rd Act breakup, fated mates, & found family. Read it!

A wonderful surprise
I don’t read a lot of Omegaverse books and this one was only my 3rd in the genre. However, it is definitely my favorite of the bunch.
What made me enjoy it is the fact that there was so big plot drama, and was more characters driven. I sure wondered how it could be this long at 400ish pages when I first started it and was afraid it would drag at some places, but for me, the pacing ended up being just right. One of my pet peeves is when a mate bond is used to quickly resolve issues between the couples. Charlotte and Mikael had to actually communicate before forgiveness was granted, and I was glad.
I am looking forward to Piper’s story!

This was such an adorable omegaverse, I can hardly even stand it!
This was my first Sarah Blue read and I am immediately adding her backlist to my TBR!
CW: Loss of a parent/grief
I was taken aback by how emotional this story turned out to be..and how tender and sweet these alphas were with charlotte as she deals with her grief. It was genuinely a beautiful story and gave me all the feels. Shouldn’t have expected anything less when two of my faves, hockey romance and omegaverse, are mashed together!

The insta love was okay. While I wanted them to all feel it, the drama kept getting in the way. The scene of the mom passing was kinda graphic. I have warned 2 of my friends away from this book because of that and their own mom passing trauma.
Moderate: Drug use, Death of parent, and Sexual harassment
