Incredible reporting to uncover a massive conspiracy to protect a serial rapist. Some of what is written in this book is so outlandish that it is hard to accept that it is real. While HW is obviously the worst of the bunch, I have a newfound disgust for NBC that I didn't have when reading some of the underlying print stories. Their behavior was unacceptable for an organization trying to pass itself off as a news organization. Kudos to Rachel Maddow for pushing back against their bullshit. One thing that this book really helps illuminate is why it took such incredible courage for the victims to come forward. There was a deep-seated culture and machinery in place to suppress and blame them. It took a tsunami to overcome it.

Making my way around the internet, and in various gossip groups/pages/blind item pages, Harvey Weinstein's name popped up a lot. So, when there is smoke, there's fire. Not only that, how is it that a nomal person... me... know about this? That's how bad it is/was.

Ronan Farrow is a true champion getting all these women together and allowing these incredible brave ladies step up to the plate and allow their voices to be heard. You know what? These women are goddesses - every single one of them - standing up and saying the truth and putting their emotions, carriers, and lives on the line.

The most bat-shit insane part of the story is the people who work for Black Cube. Oh my god, the fact that there was a group of people out there stalking him and all these women is not only ridiculous but terrifying. And just think, it was all due to some horny son of a bitch.

I encourage everyone to read this book. The recent interviews he has given about the book and that there has been parts edited and removed is not surprising. But, that he has also said there is other press reveals to come in the future that he is somewhat privy to, wow.

Also, lastly: fuck NBC.
