The art style and RPG vibe was fun, and there’s a lot of good energy, but something was lacking for me. I think this may have been a webcomic serial that was split into volumes for publication, and that meant that the stakes were low and the characters didn’t develop much. I have nothing against webcomics (and used to read them often), but it’s hard to split them into arcs that feel complete by themselves. Quick read.

This read like a pilot to a planned longer series. Too short, felt incomplete, but the author built in all the tools needed for great character development and compelling plots. Would definitely read more of this if a series was released.

FIVE FABULOUS STARS for this queer, fun, and irreverent graphic novel.

A queer prince joining an adventuring party sounded right up my alley, and it fulfilled my expectations. Sexy semi-nude prince from page 1 what's not to love?

I need more from this world and these characters. Kendra Wells seems to be setting up a bigger story for them.

I loved every moment of this graphic novel and laughed out loud the entire time. I hope there’s more to come! The casual queerness was lovely & I enjoy seeing this kind of rep. My favorite was…all of them. I could never choose. Fans of D&D, the found family trope, and a little bit of spice will devour this book. Highly recommend for readers who liked The Adventure Zone & want more fantasy adventure stories.
