I LOVE the book and I read it at least once a year. 5+ stars
**beware: steamy sex scenes..on the hood of the truck as well :D
Reece Duncan is a Montana rancher who has fallen on hard times thanks to hi ex-wife. Close to clearing up his financial problems, Duncan's looking for is an able-bodied woman to warm his bed and fill his house with children. He's not looking for love. All he wants is a simple arrangement, which is why he places an ad in the newspaper --Man seeking woman--
Madelyn is for the most part a city girl and upon reading the ad, decides to give it a shot.
When they meet it's an instant attraction. But Duncan doesn't want a city girl who will get tired of the country life and the Montana winters. He can't seem to get Madelyn out of his head and ask she to marry him.
Cautious because of his ex-wife, Duncan ends up putting a strain on his and Madelyn's relationship...but everything works out in the end of course

This story had that old school romance vibe including an overbearing hero and a polite heroine with a penchant for getting under his skin. I was pleasantly surprised that this also had a good grovel in the third act. Overall, a delightful listen/read!

Beautiful story! Brought me to tears and made me laugh. It was nice to read about how the couple struggled to make there marriage work and what they had to over come to get there!

Mail-In Brides!!! But a little more modern!!
I love this type of story so much I repeat that line almost every time I stumble upon this type of book.
The angst on this one tho was just out of this world, the anger that H feels for his ex-wife prevented him from ever falling in love again but his desire for kids makes him go against his anger and pick the h. There is just so much conflict and chemistry between them. The same as how Noah and Allie from the Notebook used to fight a lot but also be crazy in love. That's the vibe this book gave me.
Also, all of the cool farm stories were so interesting, I love looking into the livelihoods of the characters I'm reading about and it is always a bonus when the author knows about how to properly do the job, it adds a lot of dimension to the story.

I liked the setting and the story, Madelyn really puts herself out there. And I love that she doesn’t back down oh no she doesn’t she is just as strong-willed as Reese is.
This was a unique story for me I haven’t read many books where it’s almost an arranged marriage and they have to get to know each other after the wedding. The ones I have read I loved because it for me at least adds an extra element to the story.
