Jena is a former child prodigy who lost her way in life after one incident. Since then she couldn't pick up her beloved instrument.
Now Jena and her bff, Olivia, are auditioning for one spot in the symphony orchestra they both casually play in. When Jena gets the spot, she starts to change back into the violinist she once was.
Soon she wins a coveted seat in the New York philharmonic orchestra and some how her perspective on life changes.
Although the blurb says Jena is lonely and uses sex as a way to fill the void and get attention, I found this to be more of a story about a former child prodigy who lost her way in life in her adolescence, find who she is as a person by going back to the thing that made her love the attention in the first place.
