Oh my gosh this book was absolutely amazing. I'd previously read book 2 Glass Secrets and really enjoyed it so I knew I wanted to read the rest of the series. Remy and Mikel's story is heart breaking and inspiring. It is the reality for a lot of people. Mikel's childhood is littered with traumatic moments and Remy's family has always been her safe haven. As they pursue a lingering attraction Mikel's past and present collide with gut wrenching consequences. Their story will stay with me for a long time. This was a great first book in the series. It gives you some insight into the other characters. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
