i started on the third book by accident but had no trouble at all piecing together the story line as to what was going on. very intense, dramatic, and over the top. addictive read.

I wish I knew how to put those GIFS on here, because right now I'd insert one with my head blowing off.

Ugh, this book was so frustrating. A lot of circles, unanswered questions, then more (new) problems, and even more unanswered questions. Not to mention she ended the book the same way she did the 1st one, as if it was the end of a chapter.

Seriously, I'm sort of angry with this book. All of the previous issues could have been resolved and done in the one, and there really was no reason to add more except to keep writing and selling more books. I have no problem with the writing and selling of books, it's just we don't need a story that could be told in 2 books dragged out into 3 never mind 5.

Very few good things happened in this book and, as always, every time things were looking up, shit rained on them in torrents. I felt a lot of aggravation while reading this, and I understand that it was part of setting the mood and the story itself, but it was all left unresolved. Each book should feel resolved in a way, yeah, there are going to be plots that will need to continue throughout the series, but to leave everyone of them open. NO!

And does every woman in the world that sees Gideon want him so badly they can't live without him. It's a bit much, if ya ask me. Although, I love Gideon. Love how much he needs Eva and how much he does for her.

And honestly, the only reason I got past book 1 was morbid curiosity. I hate knowing there's more to a story I've started. I can't NOT finish it.

I recommend this book for suckers like me that have to read a whole series even though it's annoying. Well, and for those who LOVE a great love connection. There are some great qualities in this book/series, read my review of the second book Reflected in You. There you'll see the wonderful things that have intrigued me enough to continue to read these books.

I read this while listening to the audio copy I received from BEA, my 1st time with an audiobook & I loved it!

So many hot scenes in this book between Eva & Gideon. I have to say the club scene totally got me!!

Note to self: Don't listen to audiobooks on speakers at home with the window open.....my neighbors think I am being super naughty!

Eva & Gideon cleared up a bunch of things that were not clear from books 1 & 2 but now I want to know what their future holds in books 4 & 5!!!! Seriously cant wait for the next installment in these books! :)

thank you [a:Sylvia Day|19823|Sylvia Day|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1361604311p2/19823.jpg] for writing this amazing series! <3 them!

After reading this series and the 50 shades, I realized that I don't enjoy Erotica books as much. This book lacks plot and seems to focus more on them two pleasing each other. Furthermore, she left the little bit of plot there is hanging for another part of the series....

BOOK 3 OF THE CROSSFIRE SERIES AND THE STORYLINE
DEFF HAS ME INTERESTED. ALTHOUGH THE STEAMY
SCENES ARE STILL THERE, THEY ARE LESS & I WAS ABLE
TO FOCUS ON THE ACTUAL STORY VS JUST SEX SCENES.
