How do I even begin writing this review? I laughed, I cried, I cried while laughing and laughed while crying.

This is the 5th and final book of Britt Andrews’s Emerald Lakes Series and let me tell you, it gave me ALL THE FEELS

I could feel the emotions that Saige was feeling while speaking to her mates through their mate bond.

You can tell how much the author has grown in her writing from book 1 The Magic of Discovery to this book The Magic of Eternity!

I love all the guys but Faris is hands down my favorite!

This book is absolutely perfection!

So, this is a cheesy, smutty rom-com type of series. It was an easy, light read for a cold January. The smut was smutty enough, the humor occasionally got me in the giggle dick, there’s action, twists, and character development.

My only annoyance with this series is the cover model. She’s gorgeous, obviously. But she’s not the curvaceous, full figured Saige described in the book. At least it wasn’t a guy (or four) with a 6 pack on the cover. Those make me cringe.

What a ride!

This had been an amazing series, one that I will carry with me forever. Thank you, Britt Andrew's, for sharing Saige and the guys with me.

I'm a bit disappointed with this final book. The build up in getting the group back to gather took over half the book, went straight on to the final fight and finally had the reunion afterwards.
I didn't appreciate the removal of Fisher's memories, I felt it was a bit of a slap in the face to people who have their own trauma which can't be magically erased. Saige and Kai didn't have a conversation about what he went through either.
We were left without really knowing what was happening back in Besmet and the introduction to Hunter and his mission to get Saige's sister was massively glossed over - I assume this will be a spin off but I'm too annoyed right now to even consider reading it if I am correct
Overall an enjoyable series but it could be so much better of it was padded out with a plot that wasn't so full of holes.
Edit: The more I think about this book the more I get annoyed. What happened to the dragons? What happened to the exiled guys that randomly popped in? We didn't get a final scene with Miranda and Annie or even Randy fucking Roger! What about Napoleon????? Arghhhhhhhhh

My poor Fischer, he went through so much. Faris as well, my gosh none of those boys deserved what happened. This book was the best of all of them. It actually focused on the problems and plot instead of just sex and we actually got to see where the character development has paid off.

Wouldn’t read this series again unfortunately.

They kinda deserved what they got with Laurie, I mean in book 3 they had her damn it! And they knew that handing her to the authorities wouldn’t do a damn thing and yet that’s exactly what they did instead of just killing her. So now that she is back yeah it’s their fault they are in that situation

This series started out great and just slowly slid downhill.
First of all, there was a lot going on at times. A lot of character juggling that just didn't always work. The series also got very sex heavy and almost lost the plot for a while. In fact, towards the end of the series sex happened in the worst of times. Escaped for our lives? Hiding out from some baddies who may or may not be chasing us while the rest of our family is dead or being tortured? Oh I missed you so much lets just get it on here and now. I'm all for the spicy bits but it has to work. And a few of the books were just not balanced out. Lots of time was spent on the sex scenes and then the plot itself felt super rushed.
Towards the end of the series things were hinted upon and touched upon but then never mentioned ever again. It was almost a tease so that was frustrating.

This book felt like the weakest of all of the books because it seemed like the pacing was off. Things felt rushed and all over the place. Serious subjects were hinted about and then never mentioned again.

The series as a whole isn't that bad. It manages to try to stand out amongst the plethora of other books in this genre. But its not a series I'll ever want to read again.

What a way to end the ride!

This was such a great series end. This has been hands down one of my favorite series ever. And thank you for not skipping over the residual trauma and straight into a happy ending. I can’t wait to read everything you write in the future.
