You have got to be kidding! This book is beyond ridiculous, I figured out the “twist” pretty early on but that’s not the issue.
Gorilla Glue!!!! Cmon!!! This was a murder, there would have been an autopsy. Plus these have to be the dumbest cops and detectives to ever live. Just no.

Picked up this book in Coxsackie without knowing the author grew up in the small town. Author's writing is addicting! Nothing like I expected. So many twists and turns completely blew my mind. Could not put this book down.

🎧 No One Will Miss Her by Kat Rosenfield
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I picked this one up because I heard it had a great twist. I immediately hated it. It was overly graphic, violent, and included cruelty to animals that I had to fast forward through. But just as I was about to quit it, came the twist. Yes, it was a good one. It definitely kept me interested and I ended up really enjoying the second half of the book. I just wished the first half wasn’t so stomach turning.

SpoilerI would give this book a solid 3.5. For how short it was I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it that much. It gave me a mixture between Gone Girl and Where the Crawdads Sing. I liked it a lot. It’s interesting to think that Lizzie was likable but un-likable at the same time. I liked the twist a lot too. I think the speed of the story made it more unexpected to find out Lizzie was alive because I’m used to the twist taking forever and coming at the end. I liked that it was a quick shocker in the middle and then you got to read from a whole new perspective. It makes me want to go back and read the beginning again knowing this time that Adrienne was Lizzie. I feel like it was a little too easy for her to get away with it but I still like how the story played out. I was reallyyy hoping Bird would figure it out but that would have complicated things way too much. I love that she had them see each other again later and the fact that they slept together was brilliant because my mind was like “omg he’s gonna see where her mole was”. I loved that it was short and fast-paced. It was interesting reading a book published in 2021 with more recent references like grub hub and Uber. My only complaint is that the writing style wasn’t always the best. There were some really good sections of writing, especially when Lizzie was describing certain things. But other parts like the #MeToo reference didn’t seem to really fit. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to people!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! It took many twists and turns that I did not foresee, had both sympathetic and unsympathetic characters, and an adverse "hero" in the story.
i got this book on a whim from the library and quickly fell into stride with the narrative. The writing is very modern with a dash of vulgarity, but that is what makes the book so great. You can really get a sense of each personality and how Rosenfield wants characters to be portrayed. The imagery is great as well.
The plot keeps you guessing but wrapped up in what is happening. I love the twists presented in the book and how they blend together so nicely!
