I received an ARC from Barnes and Noble.

This was so much better then I expected it to be. Normally I don't like mysteries because they're too slow and drawn out but the author made it a quick and easy read that I really couldn't put down once I started.

The book will officially be out in September!

This book is so overhyped but I still really enjoyed it and I really loved the writing in this book.

4.5 stars! i wanted to reread this book on audiobook bc i didn’t think i read it well enough the first time around, and i wanted to be confident in my rating. i’m now confident this is a 5 star read. it is so heartbreaking and emotional, but there’s something about the story that is worth all the emotions you go through while reading it. the writing is also just phenomenal. wow

This book was intriguing right from the start. It tells the story of the missing girl named Sadie who is also trying to figure out what has happened to her sister that is also missing . It has a very interesting narrative- switching back and forth between Sadie in the past and then present day with a podcast host who is trying to find out what exactly happened to Sadie. This book deals with some very triggering issues such as rape, child abuse, drug abuse, and domestic violence. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. I'm glad I read this however did not like the ending.
