I'm going to continue this series cause it literally is just a cheesy smutty manga but what the fuck Hakuto slapping Chiwa was stupid and unnecessary. Going to pretend like that didn't happen but that was super problematic and toxic

~4/5

Hokuto and Chiwa are still having communication problems, including a fight where Hokuto goes to stay somewhere else for a few days. They’re having a hard time coming to a decision regarding Hokuto’s dad, but they finally decide to calm down on it.

Then there’s some trouble regarding their previous lovers. Both of them are currently in the picture and causing problems, which are leading into the next volume. This is especially difficult for Chiwa, as she’s already having a hard time figuring out what her role with Hokuto is—they seem to come to a decision on this, though. (Their fight includes Hokuto hitting Chiwa, and her yelling at him after, but the smack still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.)

The real problems are leading up to something possibly big, and I’m looking forward to that. I am also enjoying the cute moments between them, though. The smut is very nice at the moment.

This series is getting closer to the end, and I’m enjoying it so far. I look forward to getting my hands on the next book.

Up untill now I fully thought that they had an amazing love and a sadist-masochist like relationship, but with actual violence it has gone a bit too far. Pressing on wounds, slaps in the face. I just hope the series will return to how it was.

hokuto. what the frik? he slapped chiwa! she suspected him of cheating on her and he slapped her and the story just moved on like that was normal and didn't merit an apology and WHAT

WHAT THE FRICK FRACK PADDY WHACK HOKUTO

look i will put up with melodrama and questionable gender dynamics because apparently that's the price of getting to read any josei these days but when we start edging into abuse territory i am not going to be feeling it. happy marriage, you are officially on notice

a lot of back and forth with the fighting and arguments. at times i thought Hokuto was a little more than aggressive when he didnt need to be. he did slap her but i've found that common when the girl is being hysterical or crying a lot...it's upsetting but then again equal rights right nah it doesnt justify it. but yea a lot of crying and now they both now shitara is up to something. i feel so bad about the dad, i really hope he visits him before its too late.

I’m just about ready to be done with this series.
