This is pure romance. It is a quick and fun read about a girl who doesn't believe in love and a guy who is bend upon romancing her. It is written in a fun way, where we see interactions between friends via text messages and then most of the story happens in Monaco. I really liked the setting of this story. It was good and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

In the last couple of weeks I’ve been reading the three previous books in the Girls Weekend Away Series, and I’ve loved them. It has been so much fun getting to know the four girlfriends, and reading about their trips and finding love. So when I got the opportunity to read the fourth and final book in the series ‘A Match Made In Monaco’ I obviously couldn’t resist and started reading as soon as possible.

‘A Match Made In Monaco’ is the story of Fredi. Fredi is a successful bridal gown designer but doesn’t believe in love at all. For the last view months Fredi has been texting with a handsome movie star. Her designated date for her friend’s wedding. Because this time one of the friends is finally marrying the love of her life! But although Fredi has enjoyed texting with Zayn over the last view months making sure everything is set for the wedding, and although she finds him very attractive she doesn’t necessarily look forward to spending time with him in Monaco. After all, love isn’t real and the things she feels for Zayn are nothing more than a distraction.

I love that this book takes place in Monaco. I’ve been there twice and I loved visiting there. It’s such a pretty, extravagant and somehow magical place. I can easily picture a romance taken place there. So when I was reading this book I was totally imagining myself walking through the streets I’ve actually walked before. (Although I haven’t been to the expensive stores like Prada etc.) And it was fun to actually spend time on one of the enormous boats I’ve been seeing there.. if only in my mind. LOL!

Since Fredi’s story is the last one in the series, I was really looking forward to reading about her and to find out how the one who doesn’t believe in love finally finds love herself. Unfortunately I didn’t like this story as much as I did the previous three. It was still a nice read, but I just didn’t feel their romance as much as the previous ones. Maybe because in this book Fredi and Zayn already have been talking for months, and we start the story right before they meet. I somehow felt like I missed something because of that.

Zayn’s character was fun, but I felt like I didn’t know him as much as I did the other guys in the series. I did love how much he cared for Fredi, and was working really hard to make Fredi see that they belonged together. I just wished we would have gotten to know him a little more.

That being said, I loved reading about the wedding of Bonni and Quinn. It’s so fun to keep reading about these romances throughout the series. And although I’m sad the series has come to an end, I definitely enjoyed every moment of reading about these four girlfriends.
