The only reason I'm not giving it any low rating is causing there were some lines i liked. Tho they weren't worth reading the whole book.

I loved you as
Icarus loved
The sun -

Too close,
Too much.
I saw this snippet of the book in a Facebook story, this is what made me intrigued to read it. This is the opening and from it the book goes downhill.

95% of the lines here should be a tweet at best (a drafted tweet that is).

The poet tried to be a sad Taylor swift but he only accomplished being sad.

Some poems really hit close to home in terms of heartbreak. They were so simple and yet so full of truth and understanding. I loved most of them although I would say some sounded really repetitive. But overall, the poems made my heart whole and empty at the same time. I'm glad and thankful my friend Anna gifted this anthology to me, it's definitely a must-read if you're just starting with poetry/ contemporary poetry.

This is hands down my favorite collection of poetry! There are poems in this tiny book that I can relate to so wholeheartedly, that it breaks my heart.

3/31/17:
I recently just read lullabies by Lang Leav which was filled to the brim with love poems that I hated, they were dull, and repetitive.

Love and Space Dust is also filled with love poems, that have a similar theme; but what makes it great, what makes it spectacular is, that it is more than just love poems.

2015 I said that this book was filled with poems so relatable it broke my heart and two years later I still agree. Love and Space Dust is about love, life, and relationships and it's amazing and heartbreaking all at the same time.

after reading Milk & Honey which severely disappointed me, I came back to this gem. Making this the third time I've read it. It's definitely one of my favorites, and I always expect to love it less than I did before, but I just always end up loving it more.

I don't want peace.

I want late nights and
Dark rings, action and
Bright lights, love and
Heartbreak and feeling
And pain. I want you.

I want to breathe in life
And breathe out poetry.
