DNF - charming concept with some cute passages, but typos, frustrating characterization, and a snail’s paced plot killed my interest

Good book but not as good as 'love in the time of zombies' which I found more witty.

Lots of funny moments in this one though. Fast paced action. Writing style a little off for me though and I could not always connect with the characters.

Hukattu mahdollisuus.

The main character gets isekaied into a romance novel and I fucking love that genre.
Spoiler
~While the MFC wasn't reborn as the villainess, she is a book editor that was transported into a bad fantasy romance novel
~I really liked all the tropes Gannon poked fun at, and the characters were really fun and fleshed out.
~The setting of Chicago but wrong is also really fun. It takes a lot of talent to deliberately create a world and make it both make sense and also not make sense. The world is bonkers and inconsistent, but it's fun and exciting.
~Having the main antagonist be a himbo-Fabio-vampire is inspired, and I was so glad that he got his true happily ever after in the sequel.
~I saw the sister-twist coming, but I was still really happy to read those scenes.
~I don't really understand how wizard-warlocks bond, but considering they're like vampires but more magic I guess it makes sense. Of all the world-building in this book, I think this was the wibbliest for me.
~I had a blast reading this and immediately went to read the sequel.
