I don't normally log my reviews for non-fiction here for a number of reasons. I need to express how refreshing it is to see ethical writing that (1) assumes a meta-ethics that I think is largely intuitive and correct (that there are moral facts, and that they are grounded in our relationships with one another); and (2) takes seriously the ongoing damage done to human community by the legacies, and modernizations, of things like patriarchy, chattel slavery, and colonialism.
