Awful, terrible. The plot line was awful, the subject matter very deep and dark. Having sex to move past trauma is NOT healthy, it's trauma response. Her boyfriend calls her Baby, creeped me out, and made me want to throw up all at the same time. Very disturbing, very sad. Somewhat sweet love story, but couldn't get past the negatives.

I had such high hopes for this book, and I really did try to like it, but I found it to be intense, but predictable.There was only one twist I didn't figure out that shocked me. I found myself skimming a lot of the book because it was mostly dialogue and very little action. I think I might be getting too old for these young adult/new adult angst books.

I’ve decided Colleen Hoover’s books just aren’t for me but this is the better of the ones I have read, it is depressingly beautiful.

This book was a whole whirlwind of emotions. The fact Colleen always has some crazy plot twist always makes her books 100% better. I love Holder with my entire heart. That man was one of the purest guys I’ve ever read and he cared about Sky to the end of the earth. Trigger warnings should be issued at the beginning of this book though because it was a lot to take in at times.
